Ticket Refund Services enables travel agents to process their clients refund requests quickly and efficiently and in accordance with the increasingly complex airline specific conditions. It also provides the ability to refund eligible components of unused airline tickets before they expire.
Travel plans often change unexpectedly and processing of complex refunds for your clients are time consuming and detract from new sales activities. Additionally every day large volumes of airline tickets eligible for refund may expire if you don’t keep track of these. The service provides significant value to both the travel agency and their clients. For the agency it increases operational efficiency and customer satisfaction and by tracking unused coupons it provides for a new revenue stream and for your clients a significant travel expense saving.
Using our own proprietary technology and our highly skilled team, we validate each ticket’s refund eligibility against the issuing airline’s complex set of business rules. Once validated, our team then proceeds to submit a refund request through the appropriate Global Distribution System and/or Billing & Settlement portal.
We only process those refunds or unused tickets according to your specific criteria. For example, only process the refund if required documentation is attached or only process for unused tickets that are due to expire in the next five business days. Our service can also include the refunding of the tax's component on non-refundable tickets.
