In the global economy, business service outsourcing (BSO) is a multibillion-dollar industry, with India and the Philippines as major players servicing the global market needs. Being the largest of the ASEAN nations and 16th largest economy in the world, it seems sensible for the global aviation industry to see Indonesia’s economic potential as a rising star in the business process outsourcing (“BPO”) sector. Whilst Indonesia is not as well-known as a market in providing these services, ATI is making a big difference in changing perceptions.

Established in 2001, ATI has gained tremendous traction in the past six years, growing from just 25 people in 2010 to over 550 employees currently—almost all of them are fixed employees—and increasing its business at an 80% CAGR. “Outsourcing is a tremendous opportunity in the Indonesian market, we feel that Indonesia has a number of assets that have not been represented well in this sector today and we are trying to make a difference,” says Felix Hidayat, Chief Business Officer and Director of ATI Business Group.
